I was honored when asked to share a few words about Global Data Technologies phone and technology solutions. I have engaged the services of Global Data Technologies at two different Schools. I first met them when I was the Superintendent at Miles ISD. At that time, I had a new IT Director, and we were having issues with our phones, speakers, and bell schedules. Our phone system was end of life as far as warranty and serviceability. Therefore, we could not get it serviced. GDT came in and gave us a new solution that fixed all of our problems. Above providing all new phone equipment they introduced us to an app. This solution gives us the same to the advanced technology as if we were at our command center style desk phone.

The new solution allows us to engage an alarm and set off a warning to the whole district from any cell phone with the app installed. For example, I can be across town and send a lockdown warning to all campuses simultaneously. When I became the Superintendent at Christoval ISD, I was excited that GDT had already installed their solution at the district. We have since have had GDT install a new VoIP Solution to enhance my old analog speakers. Above everything, they did as they promised. GDT has gone above and beyond to make sure everything has excellent performance. Moreover, my IT Director knows he can call them anytime for support. They have never let me down. I do believe that GDT has given me and my teachers and staff a solution that gives my district precious minutes if we face a threat on any of our campuses. I can honestly say I feel our school grounds are much safer with the solution GDT provided.
